First and foremost I would like to thank our club leaders for entrusting me the job of EDITOR for Rota Year 2011-12. Community Bell is the voice of young, energetic, enthusiastic and of every Rotaractors. Rota Year 2010-11 was a great year for Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, year of many new beginnings and discoveries. Our projects Traffic Awareness, Human Rights and Environmental Education had set up new benchmarks for us to begin with. And we had continuously worked to match the same standards in all our projects, or even surpass them. We have made a lot of new friends across the globe after participating in IDYEP and ROTASIA 2011.
The twin treaty with Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Commito (RI Dist. 3201, India) and twin renew with Rotaract Club of Narayangunj Riverview (RI Dist. 3280, Bangladesh) for Rota Year 2011-12 during ROTASIA was our dream for having lots of Joint International Projects. Now the time has come and we have to prove with our exertion. So, let’s set fresh goals for service to solve certain world issues.
For this issue, I would like to thank all our club members and my editorial team for lending their helping hands to accomplish this seemingly easy but actually complicated task.
I hope you enjoy reading “Community Bell”. Let’s spread the word even wider in coming issues!
